GOOGLE GROUP REFELCTION
This project is where I created my on google group page. I was able to make a page to allow people to post things to me. In class we posted a opinion, about an assignment. Then we posted other opinions to each class members site.
Google groups is different than, the blog. You can put questions and have the students answer them on the post. I use this in my online class.
This assignment will be very useful to me in the future. I can have students create their on page and post each week on it for a grade. This allows the students to communicate to each other outside of class. This was a great tool that, I learned and plan to use it in the future of my own class.

Reflection ON Blog
BLOG REFLECTION
This was the first assignment I did in IT 365. We created our own blog page. I picked my own back ground, and things I wanted on it. Then I was taught how to post and use the site.
It was not very hard to create.
It is a great site. It is very neat to have a blog site. I think it would be great for students to have a site. They can post things to other students. I can also post things to students. It is a great way to communicate to each other.
I will continue to use my site after the class. I like to see how many people look at my site, and if they post anything to me. I enjoyed this project.

Reflection ON MOVIE

REFLECTION ON MOVIE
This project I created a movie. On windows there is a tool called movie maker. When clicking on the movie maker, there is step by step instructions on how to create a movie.
I chose the topic Titanic. I followed the step by step instructions and created my movie. It was very easy to create. The hardiest thing to create was the topic. I had to think, to find a topic I wanted to create, and turn into a movie.
I used google search to find my pictures of the titanic. I put them in order, of how the titanic took place. I then added sound, and neat textiles to each piece.
This tool is very useful in a classroom. I could show the movie on the titanic, and then
have a short quiz on the movie. The students
would learn how the titanic first sailed, and how the ship sunk. This teaches great information of history to the student.
In the future this will be a great tool, that I can use in my classroom some day. It is very easy to use, and will be very fun and helpful to the students.

Reflections on Plagiarism

REFLECTION ON PLAGIARISM TECHNOLOGY
This activity I wrote a paper on the issue of gender bias. This was a great issue to write on. I did not know much information related to this topic, but after research it was very interesting on the issue of gender bias.
I am so afraid when writing a paper. I am always worried about plagiarism. One thing wrong, and you could be using plagiarism and not know it.
The Turnitin was a great system to use, to let you know if your using plagiarism. I wrote the report, then submitted it to Turiitin. Then, it lets you know your percentile on the report.
I will enjoy this tool in the future of finishing my degree of education. It will come in handy, when I have to turn in reports in other classrooms.

REFLECTION ON WEB TOOLS
In this assignment I searched for five games. The games were related to math for my classroom. I went to the engine search on google, and typed in games for math. The math games were related to first grade. The web search pulled up many games related to this search.
Then I browsed, through each game, and decided on the five I would like to present to my class.
I then made a hyperlink on my web page. This would show each child how to pull the game up on the web. Once at the sight, they would be able to play the game, on the web. All of the games are free on the web.
I think this is a great tool for teachers to use for there children. The games are practice,
for the math problems, that are studied in the class. It allows fun and improves on math skills.

Concept Map Reflection

I enjoyed creating my concept map. Concept mapping is a diagram showing the relationships between concepts. The map is going to begin with most general and then leads in to the specific. The step in creating the concept map is brainstorming. This allows the student, to dig deeper in their thinking abilities. Next, the students will use the web. This allows the student’s to compare and contrast the information. I think concepts maps will assess what students already know about a topic as well as what they have learned.
A lesson plan is specific information about the lesson. The planning map is a visual of what you have wrote in your lesson that week. It is the same information, but in more detail along with visuals. I believe that children learn more with visuals. This helps them to see the whole concept better with a picture in their head. I learn better with visual aid than, reading the information

Reflections on Chapter One
#1 What is the role that national technology standards play in the successful integration of technologhy? The role is designed to guide teacher preparation programs and define the fundamental concepts, knowledge, and skills, and attitudes for appyling technology in educational settings.
#2 How can you manage the classroom during technology integration? The main key is the teacher needs to be comfortable with the technology and the process that is being used.
#3 What is the connection between learning outcomes and assessment? They are both measuring basic knowledge and understanding of content. One encourages a higher levels of skills thinking.
#4 Describe characteristics of special learners? Some characteristics of special learners are children who live in poverty. Special learners might have varying physcial abilities, gifts, cognitive abilites, and emotional needs.

My First Blog
